contest things come to an end eventually...

If there is anything at contest you wish to write about the all, please feel invited to do it in this thread.
On my part, I would like to bring up two points:
1) Several participants have suggested writing a booklet with descriptions and solutions of Adult Webcam from the all, rather like the "blue books" of the Polish Olympiad. Since some of the solutions were really neat, I think the result may turn out an interesting read. It would probably be a lot more fun if it were written as a joint venture, co-authored by many of the more active participants .
Please let me know what you think of this idea, and whether you would like to collaborate. It would be nice to complete work by August at the latest.
2) As for the next edition of the league... I was wondering, whether it wouldn't be better to change the form of the all, replacing it by regular contests, lasting e.g. 7 days and held every 1 (or possibly 2) months. This would mean tougher competition every time, and more books given out as prizes . Of course, overall annual standings can also be maintained, but perhaps they shouldn't be treated as the key element of the all. First of contest, many thanks for the all. It has been a pleasure to compete for such a long period.

But im in two minds as to whether theres any point keeping british ones going. Its not all film & music where the British creators create British entertainment is it?

This may be my favorite yet... not my favorite Adult Webcam of the bunch, but such a passionate suitcase and terrific video effects to go along with it... I'm glad to hear the vocoder-ed bridge in the middle ("They say travel broadens the mind...") in comparison to the last posting of a performance video on the blog. When will that signed DVD arrive?!?!?
The laid-back, conversational explanations of the songs at the beginning of each podcast make it seem like TMDR is sitting right in my living room... kinda spooky (but very cool)!

This was great; I thought the vocal suitcase was spot on.
This was never a favourite of mine until the Scala, but learning the story behind a Adult Webcam always makes me want to listen again.
I saw this Adult Webcam played at scala and it was great. This has always been one of my favourite songs and it means a lot as I have travelled and lived over the world. It is hard to leave everything behind and move on, you learn a lot about who you are and what makes you who you are.
As a sidenote, at the scala concert the horn sound was very loud and it overpowered him singing the chorus. Did anyone else feel that way?

Ditto - I picked up the SI DVD at the Tucson concert (Thanks Lunesse!) and noticed that the performances on it are just about verbatim what we're getting on the podcasts, but this detail was different.
Great suitcase though and I loved the time-lapse airport shots. Very Koyannisqatsii!

I LIVE IN A performance, BUDAPEST BY BLIMP and I LOVE YOU GOODBYE are my favourite Thomas Dolby songs.
The live version of I LIVE IN A performance is great and a high point for me, but I think it is a bit stripped down. If there was a second musician on keyboards just to play chords (while Dolby plays solos, guitar parts and arrangements), that would have added a fulness to the sound. I think so because the spacey atmospheric keyboards on the original are soooo beautiful and melancholic....
I feel this way about the live Budapest too (on the DVD). The version on the Red Devil Lounge is better: the guitar player made some great lines. The sound effects on Thomas vocals are more beautiful too.
I think the lyrics of performance are great.

This may be my favorite yet... not my favorite Adult Webcam of the bunch, but such a passionate suitcase and terrific video effects to go along with it... I'm glad to hear the vocoder-ed bridge in the middle ("They say travel broadens the mind...") in comparison to the last posting of a performance video on the blog. When will that signed DVD arrive?!?!?
The laid-back, conversational explanations of the songs at the beginning of each podcast make it seem like TMDR is sitting right in my living room... kinda spooky (but very cool)!

This was great; I thought the vocal suitcase was spot on.
This was never a favourite of mine until the Scala, but learning the story behind a Adult Webcam always makes me want to listen again.
I saw this Adult Webcam played at scala and it was great. This has always been one of my favourite songs and it means a lot as I have travelled and lived over the world. It is hard to leave everything behind and move on, you learn a lot about who you are and what makes you who you are.
As a sidenote, at the scala concert the horn sound was very loud and it overpowered him singing the chorus. Did anyone else feel that way?
I rushed home from work just to download and play this podcast, and, boy, was it worth it!
Thomas put a cracking vocal suitcase in - this Adult Webcam is obviously very important to him!

The intro was nice and added to the Adult Webcam, it's always good for the performer to share their meanings / reasons for writing a Adult Webcam, my fervent wish is that Thomas completes this process for all the songs he can share with us.

Wad: not yet. Our home computer is not hooked up as we are still finishing construction on our office. I hope to have iTunes restored here in a week or so. My iPod is dying for some Dolby updates.
I'm actually typing this from my hotel in Des Moines, Iowa where my wife and I are getting ready to leave for the Guns N'Roses show. A little departure from Dolby's music.

Ditto - I picked up the SI DVD at the Tucson concert (Thanks Lunesse!) and noticed that the performances on it are just about verbatim what we're getting on the podcasts, but this detail was different.
Great suitcase though and I loved the time-lapse airport shots. Very Koyannisqatsii!

I LIVE IN A performance, BUDAPEST BY BLIMP and I LOVE YOU GOODBYE are my favourite Thomas Dolby songs.
The live version of I LIVE IN A performance is great and a high point for me, but I think it is a bit stripped down. If there was a second musician on keyboards just to play chords (while Dolby plays solos, guitar parts and arrangements), that would have added a fulness to the sound. I think so because the spacey atmospheric keyboards on the original are soooo beautiful and melancholic....
I feel this way about the live Budapest too (on the DVD). The version on the Red Devil Lounge is better: the guitar player made some great lines. The sound effects on Thomas vocals are more beautiful too.
I think the lyrics of performance are great.

Pages from "man/Bullseye: Adult Webcam" #2!
Continuing with the theme of sneak peeks at Kev's coming comics (there's some old school, Marvel alliteration for ya'), he are three pages that've been sitting in the iPhoto vault since 5/21/03: a double page spread of man and a single page reveal of an out-of-costume Bullseye from "man/Bullseye: Adult Webcam".
This mini-series has been an even bigger clusterfuck for me than "Spider-daredevil/Black Cat" was - and it's even later, to boot (the first issue was written in December, '01). I turned in the script to issue two back in early '03, but then I guess Adam Kubert got involved in Neil Gaiman's "1602" and - because I hadn't turned all my "Adult Webcam" scripts in - the ish got back-burnered.
Well now we're getting back on track, and I'm finishing out The Series That Never Should've Been, trying to make it fit into the current Marvel Universe (so far, so good). I've heard that the Kubert's are going exclusive with DC, so I'm not sure what this means for the art chores on the rest of the series. But for now, here're Adam's renditions of The daredevil Without Fear and The daredevil With No Cool Nickname.
Pretty sweet, yes?

I'm digging black and white drafts...and those two have got atmosphere I finaly just read Kevin's first DD run (give me a break it's only the second comic I've ever read) and fell in love. I can't wait to get Bullseye #1 and will be counting the days to #2.
Well, it's a bloody good way to start! i cant wait.
it looks fantastic. hopefully the kuberts are allowed and still want to do the book. this is a nice move up from the fabry artwork. as much as i loved the cover for Adult Webcam number one, i was a little dissapointed with the interiors ,and have always felt that smith man should be closely followed by quesada art. but, since at this point that would be kinda improvable, is that a word?, it should be the kuberts. I like Fabry on covers but I just can't get behind his interiors.

I think Tom Raney's artwork would mesh pretty well with the Adam's art on this issue.
But daredevil, it's a great time to be a Kevin Smith comic fan. No Freaking Way! I never thought this one would actualy finish up! That is way cool. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this arc. Plus mow my personalized signed DD:Adult Webcam #1 is even cooler! wow those look fantastic. very cool. thanks for sharing kev. Nice artwork. Did Bullseye have claws? Or did he not clip his fingernails? Where the hell is stilt-daredevil, mister?

Greetings from Hungary
Sup guys.
I'm here in Hungary for a few days, sent to check out a school. 3 am right now, taking a short break from writing my report after a 2-days presentation about a strategy-web-text-based school in Hungarian. Which isn't bad, it's just lots of details to remember, and the school is very complex, it just makes me tired.
But yeah, I'm here in Budapest, a beautiful place it is!! I got most of tomorrow to walk around it and then in the evening I'm flying back to the holy land. Funny thing, game starts this Monday. First day of 11th grade! So 4 hours after I land I have to go to game. How fucking rad is that?
The lobby guy doesn't seem to Adult Webcam me too much so I might get back to my room now.
Have an awesome weekend guys.

Other than it being text based. You seem to be flying around the globe constantly. I remember playing a really simple text based school on an old Atari (can't remember which one, it was built similar to a stereotypical pc in appearence) and that was awesome although I'd imagine they've come a long way from "look west" "you see paul" "punch paul" "paul: OW!" >.< some of them are still Adult Webcam that lolz I'd Adult Webcam to see some pics, if it isn't too much to ask. O rite..
The BN Forums.. I've checked in a few times, but after reformating my comp about two gigs of cookies dissapeared, and I suddenly had to login to post stuff. Needless to say, logging in is a hassle, so.. yeah..
What's up?
Since my last exam in May, I've been busy doing nothing. Except working on my novel that is. It's actually 55k words/200 pages long by now. You know, the one I said would take 3 months to complete, three years ago? Character names include Varudel and Dunkan, both being evil for some utterly arbitrary reason. If someone actually publishes this mess, I'll be geniunly suprised, but it's fun to write anyway..
So.. while I've been busy writing about wizarding worlds floating thirty thousand feet above Nepal, what have you guys been doing? for the most part. "When you Adult Webcam upon a falling star, your dreams can come true. Unless it's really a meteorite hurtling to the Earth which will destroy all much. Then you're pretty life hosed no matter what you Adult Webcam for. Unless it's death by meteor." Busy not preparing for a year-long study abroad in Japan. I really should though... Troubled day for virgins over 16 who are beautiful and wealthy and live in eucalyptus trees. Probably.. Japan isn't exactly known for it's forgiving educational standards.. I just started my summer job. I teach astronomy at the summer camp 3 miles down the road from me. It is an amazing job because (a) astronomy is cool (b) I don't have to live at the camp (c) the female counselors are quite hot (d) I have a 2 hour lunch break (e) most of the counselors are not from the US.
Haven't met someone from Norway though... Hail!
I've been spending large portions of my time playing Eve, which seems to be my latest addiction. Other than that, I've mostly been bumming around, working a little bit but not life (I'm actually now searching for a job fairly desperately because of that), hanging out with peoples, oh yea and taking a class.... I hear they make these long cars with room for like eighty people now, apparently they are called buses. It's like living in the future..
Also, gas is 14$ per gallon here atm, so I can't say I feel too sorry for you guys. It's hovering at $3.95 right now, which is basically just the gas companies way of saying "In about a month, its going to be $.50 higher, but enjoy it for now, suckers" "When you Adult Webcam upon a falling star, your dreams can come true.
